POPLAR BLOG

POPLAR BLOG is a social networking site designed by and for local residents living in Bow, Mile End East, Bromley by Bow, East India and Limehouse.  It aims to provide a forum for local residents to get connected and exchange ideas, views and opinions on issues that matter to them.  We hope that the online connection will lead to more actual inter-action and co-operation between and among residents.  The vision is to have a sustained, fast and efficient method of sharing views, information, suggestions and calls to positive action, all with the view to making our local communities vibrant and dynamic.

POPLAR BLOG is initiated by a local residents’ organisation called the Bromley by Bow Community Organisation (BBBCO). BBBCO’s members are mostly local people residing in the Coventry Cross estate. Coventry Cross is one of many estates owned by Poplar HARCA, a housing association that works closely with its residents to deliver housing development and regeneration in Poplar and surrounding areas.

BBBCO invites everyone, especially their fellow HARCA residents to maximise the benefits of this site.

We welcome SILVER GARDENERS, a gardening group based in Silver Wharf near the Burdett Estate. The group will this year, co-host the Poplar BLOG….

SEASON’S GREETINGS TO ALL BLOGGERS !  Thank You for your contribution throughout the Year and long may it continue into 2012 .

*Note that this blog has No Association or does not represent views of Any Housing Association or council (i.e Poplar Harca or LBTH)

BBBCO believes that the possibilities are unlimited. Let’s keep blogging and encourage as many people you know to do the same. This is a BLOG created by and for local residents. Let us own it and make it work.
